Ordinary membership shall be available to any surgeon who is involved in the practice of vascular surgery.
Associate membership shall be open to other doctors and healthcare providers who are involved in the management of vascular disease.
Corporate membership shall be offered by the Society, to any legally constituted institution or body that is supportive of the Society’s work.
Honorary membership shall be conferred to any individual who has made significant contributions to the Society or to the field of vascular surgery.
Life membership shall be offered to ordinary member of VSM of at least 10 years in society, with no prior arrears of annual membership fee.

All fees shall be payable to the Treasurer of the Society within two (2) months of the beginning of each financial year. After this period, any member who allows his/her annual subscription to be owing to the Society, shall receive a written reminder from the Treasurer.

Applicants must also meet the requirements applicable to their respective membership category.
For individual membership, eligibility is based on the applicant's professional involvement in vascular surgery or the management of vascular disease, depending on the membership category. Corporate membership is available to legally constituted institutions or bodies that support the work of VSM.
All membership applications must be submitted using the prescribed application form and proposed and seconded by two (2) Ordinary Members of VSM. Membership approval is subject to the discretion of the Executive Committee.
