| The Vascular Society of Malaysia was formed in March of 2002. The mission and philosophy of VSM is to promote the awareness of vascular diseases and its management amongst doctors and patients, so that the diseases may be diagnosed and treated early thus improving the quality of life. to enhance the understanding of vascular diseases and its management amongst the public as well as the medical fraternity
to collaborate with similar bodies worldwide and establishing a fraternity amongst individuals with common interest, for exchange of ideas and information, in pursuit of better care and improved quality of life for patients with vascular diseases |

Membership
VSM membership is available to surgeons who are involved in the management of vascular diseases (ordinary membership). Associate membership is also open to non surgeons and allied health workers who are involved in the management of vascular diseases while corporate membership is offered to any legally constituted body or institution that is supportive of the Society’s work. The Society will also confer Honorary Membership to any individual who has made significant contribution to the Society or to the field of vascular surgery. |
